A Day In the Life

I received this from Trent's School Teacher and wanted to share it.

Heavenly Father ~
We come to You know asking that You will prepare the doctor's hands and mind before he even touches Trent. We ask that You will lay Your healing hands on this precious little boy. Father, we do not know why Trent is having to go through this, but we claim Your word You gave us in Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plan I have for you declares the Lord, not to harm you, but to prosper you." We will hold on to these words and claim them as truth! We know that You will allow this to work for You and Your glory. We ask that You will begin to heal his body before Thursday. Let his recover be quick and easy. Be with Lisa, Father. Give her peace that only You can provide. Let this family feel Your presence in the waiting room and in the operating room with Trent. Love on them let them know how much You love them. We thank You for all that You give us and do for us. We ask that You will let this family rest before, during, and after Trent's surgery with the peace in knowing that You are in control. We love You so much Father. In Your very precious name we pray...

Dear Heavenly Father, "When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to you, O Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources that He will give the Barfield family mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in their hearts as they trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep His love really is. May the Barfield family experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then they will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God! By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than the Barfield family would ever dare to ask or hope.
