May's Always Busy.

I can't lie to you.......

Trent had a game last night and my DVR didn't tape American Idol so I didn't get to see it last night. I know it's shocking. I can say that I am voting for the under dog. Which is Elliott. I hope he wins. Give it up for the barn owl!!!!

The month of May is always so busy. Birthdays, graduations, games, showers, parties and most important the end of the school year. Last week I took some time off to spend with Trent at school. They had beach day. I had 10 students in my group. Holy Cow!!! I had the worst headache after 4 hours. They all were good, just loud.

We'll I don't mean to keep bragging but...

Trent's baseball season has gone extremely well. We have to enjoy it now because next year he will be in 7/8 which will be a learning year for him. So far he has 4 homeruns and 3 gameballs. He is improving everygame. A couple of Saturdays ago he had his best game ever. 2 outs at 3rd, the game winning homerun and had gotten the game ball. For those of you who don't have children or whose children aren't old enough to play sports or have academic achievements it is the best feeling in the world. The look on their faces is indescribable. The fact that they are proud of themselves is a great feeling. I can't wait for Alyssa to find her talent. I know down the road there will be a time when all of this will end so I have to enjoy it while I can.

Trent has learned so much this year. He can read and write very well, count to 100, count money, and spell certain words. I have been extremely pleased with Ola and its teachers.

Alyssa has achieved a lot this year too. She loves to look at books, she can say her ABC's and count to 12. It's hard to believe that she will be three in November. She acts and looks so much older.
