We got a tree this year from Southern Belle Farms. I think this was the best tree we have had.

 We were also able to drag the kids to the McDonough square for some festive pictures. Great family time.

 Had fun... cant you tell? Making gingerbread houses at Nanny and Papas.

Happy Birthday, Taz!

Wow~ Alyssa is 10. That's hard to believe. She is such a sweet, loving little girl. She is strong willed, loves to read. My guess is that she becomes a teacher one day.

OLA TIDE Fall 2013

Trent did finally get his cast off and was able to play in the end of the season tournament. He had an awesome weekend both pitching and at bat. 

During a game... Trent hit this umpires foot by accident while pitching. He hobbled for an inning. When Trent went up to bat he joke with Trent that his leg was still stinging. 

Poor thing pitched so hard his arm has been hurting ever since. We got 2nd. We almost had it. It was a great season even though Trent couldn't play for most of it.

 We had fun this weekend at Southern Belle Farm. It was chilly but nice.

Mountain Trip for Fall Break

Our Fall Break officially started on Sunday when we left for ROCKY CITY. Alyssa had never been. And it had been years since we took Trent. It was alot of fun!

 Fat Man Squeeze...

 We left Rocky City and went over to Blairsville where we crashed with Uncle Jimmy for the night. We woke up and traveled to Pidgeon Forge. Alyssa had a blast.  I didnt get any pictures of Dollywood, but it was freezing. We ran into some baseball buddies and ride some rides. I hadnt been to Dollywood since the 1980's when I clogged there. Our hotel was right down the street from the park so we rode a Trolley.  On the was back home on Wednesday we stopped at Burt's Pumpkin Patch to get some goodies.

Perry Fair

This is our absolute favorite time of the year!

While Trent was cruising.... the three of us started our Fall Break Vacation out with our annual trip to the Perry Fair.

We ate, rode rides, looked at the venues and then ate some more! What great fun! Cant wait until next year!

Look Who is 14!

Happy 14th Birthday, Trentmo! I cant believe that you will be driving next year. I hope you are having fun with Daniel on the cruise. 

Birthday Braves Game

Since Trent is going to be gone on his birthday this year, I took him and some friends to a the Braves game early.... Wow did they have fun! Trent has his own homemade tomahawk..lol

And while I was meeting some players... they all caught a batting practice ball. I couldn't believe their luck. It was awesome. They were so excited.

I finally got to meet Jason Heyward. He was really nice. He signed our book and I told him I was from his hometown of McDonough. His face lit up. What a great trip to Turner Field.

Seriously?

This is Telly... He has now applied a total of 13 cast to my children! What a great guy! Trent was devastated to learn that he had indeed fractured his pinky and hand bone. He only got to pitch in 1 game last weekend. Hopefully he will be back for at least the end of the season tournament. Boooo.....He is worried about his cruise that he is taking in a couple of weeks for his birthday.... I guess a game of "Manhunt" inside in the dark will be questioned in the future...

Marching With the Mustangs

Every year Alyssa enjoys marching with the high school. They invite elementary school kids to come and march with the Flag Corps and band. She loves it!
